Happy Birthday, Chris Kyle

You may be familiar with the story of Chris Kyle, from either the book “American Sniper,” or its recent movie adaptation.  If so, you were probably inspired by his drive, passion, and loyalty to country and family.  You were likely also impressed by his skills, gifts, and talents that kept many American service members safe and allowed them to return home to their families.  You might have even noticed the grace, strength, and resilience of his wife, Taya.

Continuing to exhibit that same exemplary grace, strength, and resilience on what can only be a deeply emotional day, Taya, through the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation, is choosing to celebrate what would have been her husband’s 41st birthday in a simple, traditional, yet extraordinary way: with gift-giving.

Quality of Life Foundation is thrilled, honored, and deeply humbled to accept a $25,000 contribution to our Wounded Veteran Family Care Program as one of the inaugural Chris Kyle Birthday Grant recipients.  With this gift, we will further our mission of serving the caregivers and families of America’s most severely wounded, ill, and injured. As they say at Chris Kyle Frog Foundation,

“Trees without roots fall over – and sometimes those roots need re-generation –

that is what we’re here for”.
